I am an Internet Marketing Professional with more than 16 years of web development, online marketing and e-commerce experience. I am a Google Certified Advertising Professional and Google Analytics Qualified Individual. I also hold certificates in Internet Marketing and Business Management and am a current member of the Web Analytics Association (WAA) and a long-standing past member and past board member of the International Internet Marketing Association (IIMA).

I have developed, owned and operated numerous successful web properties and developed successful online marketing strategies, both internally as well as for clients. These strategies have included organic search optimization, Google Adwords and Yahoo Search Marketing campaigns, social media marketing, and affiliate programs.

Also during the mid-90's I worked as a Regional Marketing Executive with Boy Scouts of Canada. One of my more enjoyable roles was to develop and deliver adult training courses. I now use my training experience to teach individuals and companies how to use and understand Google Analytics, and how to leverage the knowledge it provides to better guide and measure their marketing initiatives. I originally founded Rainbow Communications in Edmonton in the mid-1990's operating under the name Cougar Web Design. As the market and technology changed I became more focused on the study of visitor behaviour and organic traffic development. When I moved back to Vancouver in 2003 I re-focused away from the design side and more towards marketing and traffic development.
