I am pleased to annouce a new partnership and merger with the GLBT directory PinkPagesNet.com, and its parent company, RainbowTourism.com, an Australia- based Gay Travel Service, which specializes in travel to Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
The PinkPagesNet directory originally started in 1995 to provide an online resource for New Zealand. Over the years it expanded it’s reach to include Australia and other regions.

This shift is in the fundamental way people are using the Internet, and the expectations they have when visiting websites.
In the past, websites simply served as a one-way source “pushing” information to the surfer and offering little, or no opportunity for interaction. Web pages could remain static and unchanged for months, or even years, and still be considered useful.

On Wednesday the May 14th, I attended a 2-hour+ presentation and panel discussion on utilizing Facebook as a business promotion tool. The event was presented by IIMA and was the most attended event in IIMA history, which only reinforces the growing interest in this marketing area.
I can honestly say that after 2 hours I am still somewhat in the dark as to any real value of Facebook in the B2B world, but can see how certain businesses could gain an advantage in B2C marketing. Continue reading Facebook – A Serious Business Tool?
